Hi,

I am looking to do a a course/days training in the North East on working with flashguns and modifiers with a model present. I have seen several of these days advertised but they are always well out of the region.

I am not after a basic course (Getting to know what Manual or how to control Flash Power) More to get experience working with models and using multiple flashguns in an outside setting.

If any body knows or even runs this sort of thing I would appreciate being directed towards it.

I think you may have to travel mate. I've looked for something similar but haven't found anything local so I'm forced to travel.

I haven't asked on here though so hopefully this might turn something up :thumbs:
 
Yes I know. Where abouts have you travelled to?

Have you tried contacting Banana Studio's mate? Am sure they do things like this... albeit not cheap but you get 1 to 1 tuition I think :)
 
Thanks for the suggestion. To be honest I have not heard about this studio. Have you got any experience of them yourself?

I haven't but they are pretty much THE studio from what I can gather, and the owner is a very well respected photographer (award winning I think).

I think all the footballers and local celebs get their photos done there too as it's got a really good rep.
 
I have had a good look around their website and do seem to have a very good setup.

They don't have many courses advertised but I will certainly keep an eye on their site for new courses.

My preference at the moment is for an outdoor course with flashguns rather than in the studio. But they are difficult to find.
