Been looking at getting this for some time now... Didn't realize how cheap it actually is! All i need to know is there anything better out there or is the plugin for Photoshop better??

Theres nothing else with the face sculpting (AFAIK) but some people like Imagenomic Portraiture which has skin softening and works as a plug-in.

Portrait professional is awful. Imagenomic Portraiture is a million times better, I have experience with both, and now use neither. Take from that what you will lol

I bought it quite a while ago and apart from messing about I've yet to use it in anger (for paid shoots).
I find skin smoothing in adjustment brush in LR3 to be all I need.
If I could go back I wouldn't buy it again and it goes down as one of those wastes of money unfortunately.

Portrait pro is very good (assuming you tone down the default setting) and quite easy to use, whether it's worth the money is another thing, even though we have it I tend to use photoshop and simply blur the skin part slightly most of the time.
If you do a lot of portrait work it might be worth trying one or the other of the tools, i thnik topaz does one as well but haven t tried it yet.

You can use it standalone or as a Photoshop plugin
