I'm thinking of taking a short course or attending a seminar about portrait photography and am looking for some suggestions or advise on good ones to attend.
I'm not interested in learning about studio based, big lighting kit set up at the moment. My style is more minimalist making use of natural light where possible and using real, natural locations to capture spontaneous and natural photographs.
An Annabel Williams one-day course is the obvious choice and certainly her ethos closely matches mine. I was also looking at cjnicolai's work on here and that also closely fits with the style I would like to develop more. It's a shame that she's (you're, if you are reading this cjnicolai!) not doing any more courses in the UK.
So can anyone recommend me courses and books that might be suitable? A course in the North of England or Scotland would be most convenient for me btw.
