Can anyone help me with how these are lit?
The catchlights suggest a softbox camera right and it looks like the background is overexposed a little , but is that it?

Cheers

Looks to me to be more about the PP than the lighting. Checkout the Dragan effect for pp in Photoshop, I think it might be an extreme use of that.

This is a fairly good guide ..

Fairly classic three-point lighting would be my guess - one high and in front which is sometimes snooted to get a small pool of light (e.g. right hand column, third down), sometimes in something like a beauty dish to keep the shadows under the chin. Then two hard lights behind the subject left and right giving edge lights to the faces (most obvious in the top middle shot). But there seems to be some variation in the use of these. Then a light/white background exposed quite brightly. But I am no expert in studio lighting so let's hope for an expert to come along soon.

Gridded softboxes right and left, behind subject. Background light. Softbox from front, above and slightly to one side of camera. Size of pupils suggests continuous light, and often a wide-angle lens from quite close.

Most of the 'look' is post-processing though. You can get quite close to that just with heavy use of the contrast and clarity sliders in Lightroom.

Edit: I think the snoot effect is actually a heavy vignette in post, and I'd guess there's a bit more selective darkening going on to enhance the look in other areas.
