Hi all,
I managed to win a Portaflash 336vm 3 head kit with 2 brollies, 2 soft boxes, snoot and honeycomb, stands and sync cables on the bay. I want to try my hand at home studio photography, mainly family portraits etc. I've only paid £160 for the kit, which i thought was ok considering what is in the kit.
Had a look on tinternet for info on them, it mainly says not very adjustable power wise,1/4, 1/2 or full and with only a 100 joules output to play with. A good starter set. Sound just what i was looking for!
I am only dipping my toe in the water so to speak, didnt want to spend a lot on studio flash because i want to walk before running.
Has anyone had any experience of using these flash heads, good/bad? Any problems or limitations with them, other than the obvious?
Thanks in advance
