Morning all,

I am looking for a softbox solution for using with an off-camera speedlite. I have looked at loads on eBay but am a little worried that with the added height from an RF603 wireless trigger the flash might sit too high for the speedlite recess in the softbox?

Has anyone here got a softbox which works well for using off camera flash with a radio trigger underneath it?

Maybe Im worrying about nothing, but looking at the pictures of the softbox assembled it seems that adding another inch in height might cause the flash to sit too high?

Cheers for any help :)

This link will sort you out. |It includes a bracket to lower the speedlite so it looks at the centre not the top and also allows the softbox to fold over and point down. Others don't allow for that. I bought one and am delighted.

As a side question - has anyone used one of these

Any idea how it compares to the Konig one?

Cheers!

I have some of those. Never used the Konigs but IMO better than the Manfrotto from which they are all descended.

The Cotswold softbox looks identical to one I bought on Amazon which I use with RF602s (not 603s - I don't have those). It looks a little ugly but fits fine - the bracket adjusts.

Hi

I also have the softbox from Cotswold photo.

The bracket included works fine with the RF602 and now my RF622 mounted on the flash.

One thing I did do was to saw a little bit off the end of the bracket, allowing for greater directional postioning of the softbox.
