Hi guys

Need some advice!

I saw this on the Maplin website http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=38260&C=Newsletter&U=08P10-6&T=11755857

It got me thinking.

We produce a lot of items - embroidered clothing, signs, mugs, decals and much more. We need something we could setup quickly to take photos of the finished products.

I don't want to spend a fortune on equipment but would like some advice on the best equipment for the job.

I already have a good tripod and a Canon 1D (old type) but I don't have the lighting or even a flash.

Cheers

John

PS If you can give links to any items, that would be great. :)

£10 lighttent from Ebay (plenty from a quick search and most come with diff coloured backdrops) and a couple of flexable desklamps with 100W+ bulbs, all you need.

I've got one from maplin few month ago,When it was on offer for 9.99. Not too bad for the price.

I've got the Maplin box as well, I use it with a couple of desk lights shining through the sides / top.

Well worth £9.99

ps. they have put the box up wrong on maplins, you also have a white/translucent roof :)

The Maplin tent's excellent for the money - I used mine with two worklamps from B+Q - just set your WB to tungsten and overexpose by about a stop; the result is perfect high-key whites!

Just remember to keep the worklights away from the muslin fabric sides... I'll not be held responsible for household fires!
