Portable lighting kit?

Anyone any experience with something like this?

I want it for macro (flowers mainly) and wonder how good this is or can someone suggest an alternative that is better value?

On the plus side it's cheap......

Do you have a couple of lamps and some tracing paper? No obvious reason why this kit would be better. But if you don't and want to try this kind of lighting it's "only" 35 quid.
