Politeness in modern society - was I wrong?

There's a similar 'unfairness' in my daughter's school too

All the top 20 kids in the year get a free trip to Alton Towers, and this is decided on a points system whereby getting an 'A' gives you more points than a 'B' etc.

The real time-wasters also get points for turning up, having their uniform on, and doing their detention !!!

There are more bad kids on the coach than great ones

Now while I appreciate honouring the top kids, and I appreciate incentivising the bad ones - it's the good but not quite so clever kids that miss out most, and find it totally unfair as they get nothing at all - other than...

Must try harder, or

Must get much worse !!!

Duct tape. The perfect solution for awful kids.

Cover their mouths with it to keep them quiet.
Cover their eyes with it to keep them in the dark.
Bind them to a chair or inmovable object with it to restrain them.
Unlimited uses, just use your imagination...

And... a heck of a lot cheaper than a social worker :D

lol ive known my thing beneath my avatar has been wrong for ages i got told straight after i did it. im just too lazy to cvhange it, ill just wait for a mod to do that :P
 
A few years ago I had a phone call at 2.30 in the morning when some young wench asked " is your Joe in ? " (My son)

My reply was something I would not be allowed to post here.
Needless to say I have never had anymore calls from said wench since.
