Just had a BOLO from a buddy in logistics about a Blue unmarked Saab 9-5 Aero Station Wagon [Reg: GN07 LZL] thats been stolen.

It's an unmarked police car fitted with all the relevant kit and contained a spare Thames Valley uniform.

If it attempts to stop you or you see it call 999. Again this is *NOT* a joke.

Shouldnt laugh really . . . . .................................

<sniggers>

Oh dear... that probably means that some pr*ck will be wearing said spare uniform and having some fun today at the expense of others.

good point?

Quite possibly, this 'fun' has been known to include stopping and raping women drivers and hijacking trucks :( The mind boggles though, why the hell did it have a spare uniform in the car for christ sakes.

you say it has all the relevant kit has it got a tracker fitted

Dunno bud, am sure if it had [and it damn well should have had] it would have been traced by now.

But if it is unmarked, how will the police spot it? Sorry but this is abit

Tony

now come on it IS fitted with a tracking device is it not??????

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz:bang:

All police cars are fitted with trackers, INC unmarked/undercover cars.

This is should be picked up in no time.

whoops  probably someone who new what the car was.

A wee bit of a mistake in that article. This is a Saab 95......

Unless the Polis round there are really having to cut back :naughty:

Btw...why did the policeman have the car home with him in the first place?

another embarrassing police story

oh but what if they try to use the thames valley police uniform in some other county or in another country would it work then?

Some police cars can be taken home, armed response cars can be also. My freinds dad was one until he had a hic-cup with a nieghbour.
