Police hunt sex attack photographer in glasgow

Obviously he was not a photographer, a sex attacker posing as a photographer ...

Not a photographer though, so why the title?

The 20-year-old woman is understood to have arranged to meet a man she believed to be a photographer at a rendezvous point in Glasgow's West End.
Sources said the pair are believed to have met online.

It amazes me how naive some folk can be. It's not like she is a little kid who doesn't understand After all the warnings, over many years...............?

Hope he is caught soon (which I'm sure he will be, if he was online) & she makes a full recovery.

I'd be more concerned about the victim rather than the reputation or image of photographers. Anyone reading that can see the assailant is not one.

Who knows, maybe he is some kind of sicko with an interest in a specific form of 'art'. Maybe he actually did take photos, we do not know.

Terrible event.

well i take it so it makes more of a impact it is the msm after all ,either way its not good for photographers what ever the outcome i just hope the guy gets caught fast

A sex attacker isn't a profession that I'm aware of. He could be of any profession including photographer. Unless he is found, we'll never know.

Besides at the very least he was pretending to be a photographer and likely will have taken photographs at some stage in his life, as such I can't see problem with the headlines.

Yes I suppose that is true, let's hope he is caught, and pretty quick too.

I've often thought that this is such a risky thing to do, not just from the model's POV but a "model" could set up a photoshoot knowing a photographer is likely to be carrying lots of expensive equipment with them and could arrange for impromptu mugging!

Let's hope this scumbag gets caught ASAP!

Never underestimate the stupidy of people, and especially of wannabe models. I remember photographing a model who is now a successful professional, she told me that her first ever modelling assignment was with someone she 'met' on a modelling website and she met up with him in a supermarket car park and they then went to his flat, where he took nude photos of her. All that she knew about him was his mobile phone No. As it happened, nothing happened, but that was just down to luck.

Great reporting, a police van was parked nearby, well FML how else would the bobbies get to the scene, f*****g skateboards?
