Sorry no picture as it took me by surprise at 00.20 this morning but got a very poor few secs on video , I know there is a chance that it could be an escaped Polecat Ferret , but I would like to think it was a wild one.
Saw some on north west news a couple of months ago in Cheshire , any sightings in North West ?
It shot off when it was aware of me but I managed to squeel in back and it stuck its head through a gap in the fence to investigate.

They are everywhere rusty, have you uploaded the video? I could ask my hunting and Ferreting pals for you?

Yes I will have a go 2mos , its not very good but I was fairly confident it was a Polecat , they appear to be making a comeback after many years in decline .

In our back garden , where I clocked that fox the other week , 0020 this morning.

Anyone know how to upload video to flickr , got about 20 secs , it in a TS folder on my laptop copied from dvd.
Tried opening it but flickr is looking for photos only , maybe it dont do video ?

Just researched Flickr , pro account needed to upload video , well it was so poor anyway just a fleeting couple os secs record in poor light and poor camera tecnique.
Leaving the video camera set up tonite as it wil record about 7hrs to its 30gb drive , any movement of any beast should trigger security light and may have a more useable image then ( I expect cats ).

Well I started the camcorder recording at 11pm ( 7.10 hrs record time ) , so it ran out about 6.10am , quickly reviewed footage , only one one occasion did the security light come on , about 5am , nothing seen but the bait clearly still there.
However the bait was gone at 8am.
Doing the same tonight but putting cam on longer record SP ( gives 10hrs )
