Hi all,

I've recently acquired a Polaroid Back for my Bronica SQ-Ai but I am struggling to understand what film I can use. I am told it originally took Polaroid 107/108 but that film is no longer available. Does anyone know what current films will fit the Bronica Back?

All help gratefully received.

Aside from a company who's name I forget who are making single sheets of peel apart, the answer is none.

The last was Fuji peel apart like FP-110c or FP-3000b which was discontinued a few years ago. If you look on eBay now and can find some, it can be up to around £50 per pack.

I do have a few packs in the fridge and am reluctant to part with them but also reluctant to shoot them through either my plastic lens Polaroid 320 or my Hasselblad as it doesn't fill the sheet.

Thanks Gareth, I suppose I'll just have to search eBay.

I'm not sure that it'll be much help to you Paul, but the Bronica Manual suggests there may be a wider range of suitable films.

None of which are made any more unfortunately. Fuji were the last makers of peel apart and they stopped production a few years ago now.
669, etc can still be found on eBay though.

Thanks Peter, I'll look into it, meanwhile I have ordered some expired 107 to give it a try. I didn't pay much for the back so if it turns out I can't get film or don't like the experience that will just be part of the journey.

You could always suggest to @stevelmx5 that he fashion some sort of Instax back for your Bronica, he's got loads of time on his hands nowadays :D

Ah man, you crack me up sometimes mate [emoji23]

No, seriously, I’m currently building 5 Chroma’s at the same time, I’m sure I can squeeze in a Bronica Instax back instead of the next cup of coffee...
