Polaroid Colour Protect PX70

This isn't helping my current lust for an SX-70... Where did you find yours Ped?

The new film looks good too, definitely better than the old stuff I've seen, which was ok but I could take it or leave it.
 
Hi, I got mine from eBay, waited a while for a mint one. The film is pretty good, it's still unpredictable though. Exposure is hard to control though I love not having to shield it from light.

Dad found out his old polaroid camera last week, I'm getting increasingly tempted to get some film for it!
 
Love the colours this sort of film produces, also the square format, very nice distinctly Polaroid images, I like them all!
 
Those first three images, the colours are gorgeous, also how did you manage to get that shallow dof in those? Are you able to select an aperture on that camera or something? Great job.

Hi KayJay

The lens is F8 maximum I think. That equates to something like f2.8 in 35mm though. Without flash the maximum aperture is selected so using a tripod I was able to have a shallow DOF.
