I want/need 1 or 2 Polarising filters for Nikkor 50mm f1.4 and Sigma 18-250.. Two different thread sizes sadly.

No specific budget, but dont want to spend a fortune, what make/manufacturer should I be looking at?

If you want to try a cheap one head over to 7day shop, they do these for around a tenner. If you find your using it a lot and feel like getting a better one get a hoya pro1. I have a hoya pro1 polariser and its great, though its about £80 for a 77mm.

You only need the biggest and a stepping ring to connect the same filter to the smaller thread. :)

I use Hoya Pro1 too. Great filters but not cheap, cost me £45 for a 67mm one off amazon.

got an b & h polirizing filter kaeseman 77 mm
expensive. But worth the money if you take a lot of outdoors pics.
also got a ring for 2 pounds to adapt my 77 mm to a a smaller diameter lens (70mm)
not funny to swap the filter but i prefer having a great filter and a ring rather than 2 okay

also be careful to the vignetting effect if you wanna use a ring, although this can be corrected in post processing its better to double check the lenses, the ring and the filter you wanna purchase and read the feedbacks.

For most rings, so long as you have a larger filter, going onto a smaller lens, there should be little chance of vignetting.
