This pocket microscope is a total bargain at a £5 and really good quality!

Don't be fooled by its toy status either.

As a total bonus I bought a microscope eyepiece from the states - this one - for $4 (plus $5 shipping) and it slots over the eyepice making even better magnification!

A great educational tool, not that she's played with it anywhere near as much as I have :eek:
 
Yeah I bought one of these for a few pounds in a sale at WH Smith a few years back and they are superb. Really good quality optics for something so cheap and great fun to use. I can spend ages with mine looking at anything and everything
 
For a fiver you can't go wrong especially with all the good reviews it gets.
 
Thanks, ordered one. My daughter will love it. I'm sure it will be great to look at things in the woods when walking the dog.

I thought "for a fiver, what can it hurt?" but the optics on this thing are just fantastic! Money well spent, thanks for the heads up John.

Yeah these are a hidden gem, I thought the same when I got mine. It looked like a toy and for a few pounds I thought it would be good for the kids.

The kids never got it, I kept it and still use it.... great little microscope :thumbs:
 
Got mine yesterday, superb bit of kit. The optics are great for the money.
Had fun looking at my ipad screen, sofa and crumb from a granola bar :lol:
