Anyone got this? I'm hacked off with Virgin media and their not as advertised service. They're constantly messing with traffic allowances on what is advertised as unlimited. It wasn't restricted at all when I signed up so it is no longer fit for purpose as far as I am concerned.

Plusnet have an unlimited service and it has no fair use or other guff like Virgin impose. I worked out their sanctions start when someone uses a measly 10% of their max bandwidth in the day and 5% in the evening. Doesn't seem acceptable to me at all.

Any experiences of plusnet's unlimited fibre service? I looked at others but again they impose restrictions and I'm not interested in messing about retiming back ups and the like just to deal with stupid traffic management.
 
Virgin are a complete nightmare. I'm on their 100mb plan, before I used to get 70mb out of it and thought that was bad. For the last few months, I've been getting 2mb, and pages would not load. Got told it was high utilisation. This lasted for months, drove me nuts. So yeah, VM oversold big time.

I am VERY tempted to go with PlusNet as I always hear good about them, but unfortunately their fibre isn't available in my area yet :'(.

I'd say go for it, I've heard so many good things about them.
 
I'll be going to them the second fibre is available! It's enabled for some people locally but not me yet.
