Plus net scam

I just thought I would warn people about an email I have just received purporting to come from Plus-net wanting action on an update to the service agreement - it actually comes from Owenr98@hotmail,com and asks for log-in details. Plus-net have not updated their service agreements today.

I would totally love it if some of the e.mails I get informing of stuff I have won were true .. or the packages from DHL, fedex etc that are on hold .
And there’s even that guy in Nigeria related to a deposed prince or summat

As in all matters "fishy"......any email from anyone asking to you either click on a link to 'login' on the (supposed) official website or simply asking that you reply with your login details........is to be treated as toxic,!!!

No, repeat, no reputable company will ask you to do this. But of course your posting is cautionary reminder to take care!

Hover over the sender’s details and it will show you who it’s really been sent by. Most of the scam ones I get are from gmail addresses.

Absolutely true but if you are actually waiting for some overdue email/sms about a delivery/whatever it’s still very easy to to make a mistake .

Agreed......such scammers 'scattergun' methods will "strike" enough folk who are due a delivery to catch a proportion of those folk out !

another super weekend of prizes , I have won something from Frigidaire , black and decker , home depot .. and the parcel that DHL couldn't deliver from the place in Texas that I never ordered from want me to confirm my details. dont think so .. it seems to be getting worse lately ..wonder how many they really hook

I know my Macafee subscription has run out, they keep telling me, even though I've NEVER subscribed to it.
