Hi, just wondering what plug ins you guys would recommend for photoshop, ( i have the cs4 version). I just downloaded the Extract plug in, which is very good actually!! are there any other gems i'm missing out on??

i use the following

Silver Efex Pro
Colour Efex Pro
Noise Ninja

my photoshop has gone tits up atm :(

just installed windows 7 after using the RC version, now it's not working right.

Silver effects pro (for black and white)
Noisware pro (for noise reduction IMHO the best)
PK sharpner (not really a plug in but a script for sharpening)

Does anyone know if Noise Ninja is compatible with PSE? Not rich enough for CS4 :shake:

Digifrog - what does nik dfine do?

I love plugins and use a few regularly.

most used:
Silver Efex Pro - the best mono conversion software?
colour Efex Pro - some very handy features for speeding up workflow.
Noise Ninja - The jury is still out.
Topaz Adjust 3 - great for little tonal exposure tweaks in workflow.
Alien Skin Exposure 2 - some awesome film reproduction effects.

Noise reduction, its Niks version of Noise Ninja

oops... too late ;)

Nik package simply brilliant
Imagenomic portraiture
Topaz adjust 3
OnOne plugin suite
Power retouche

I really like Fractalius.

It's far from a must-have and you wouldn't want to use it all the time . . . but it's good fun and you get some very interesting results. iirc the full version is very cheap too.

Have a look at the Redfield site to download a free trial version - they've got a few free plug-ins on there too.

Just the two........
Nik Silver Efex Pro
OnOne plugin suite

My must haves...

OnOne Phototools Pro 2.5
Nik Silver Efex Pro
Nik Viveza
Topaz Adjust
Imogenic Noiseware Pro
Imogenic Portraiture

Out of interest, I notice a lot of people going for Noise Ninja over Noiseware - any particular reason why? I used to use Noise Ninja but switched to Noiseware as I find it far superior. What are other people's thoughts on the two programs?
