please may i rant?

Hi Suze, I've just been reading through your thread for the first time and really feel for you - and your lovely Millie. One of my dogs has suffered repeated bouts of colitis - mild at first but which got worse over the last year and although steroids worked I didn't want him on steroids permanently (he's now 9). He's now on a barf (bones and raw food) diet and it seems to have solved the problem, he's eating well, has enough energy for 6 dogs and he's back up to his normal weight and both he and his brother are pictures of health. So what I'm saying really is, don't give up hope of finding a solution for Millie and acupuncture has got to be worth a try. :)

Good luck to both of you.
