I don't join groups like this, I don't sent chain letters either as honestly what's the point they change nothing

If it were something constructive like a No 10 petition I would take it more seriously but this is facebook so no thanks

Andyhop - please don't take this the wrong way, but 3 out of your 11 posts have been promoting this Facebook Group. I realise this is the OOF section, and you obviously feel strongly about it, but can I just suggest you go out and take some photographs, and use this forum in the manner it's really intended, and not as your personal soapbox.

Clearly pretty much everybody of whatever political persuasion is going to be disgusted at this sort fo thing. But it bothers me that people set up these sort of pages and then use it as a test as to whether someone "really cares". Same as people expecting you to copy and past facebook statuses etc. In my less charitable moments it feels like groupthink at its worst.

It makes the hapless feel like they are doing something really really positive when in fact they are doing absolutely nothing... but they get that smug self-satisfied warm fuzzy glow all the same.
