Hello.

All in one computer needed and I am exhausted trying to find the best for photo editing, yes the screen is the most important?

What can you tech guys and girls tell me, at the moment I am looking at the Acer Z3370, what say you about that.

My budget is £500, not a penny more, but, maybe lots left.;)

Confused from Tonbridge wells, me Richard.

Here is my crap work station, the rest of the room is my darling wife,s crafting area.

Thanks for that Neil. the screen IQ is very important.

Get a decent monitor to plug into your laptop?

your looking at a laptop.. the best for photo editing is a desktop computer IMHO ..certainly better for the screen.. also if I am not mistaken.. cheaper..

just got myself a surface pro and find it very handy as well as having a rather nice screen too (after calibration) it depends really, if you have no problem with having a desktop unit then, as Kipax says, that is by far your better option.

Second hand macbook pro. Screen will be better than any of the budget laptops.. or second hand of any of the quality high end windows laptops. You won't get anything new with a decent screen for £500. It'll be cack.

Desktop is a much better idea as you can at least upgrade the monitor and graphics card separately at a later date if you need more performance. Laptops you are just stuck with them as they are.

This was my first thought, but, as my Laptop is old and limited, I thought an upgrade would be better all around. What monitor would you suggest if I did go that route.

The all in one PC,s are I think desktops, just more compact then tower units with LCD monitors up to 27", as you can see from my workstation I am limited for space.

I will have a look at the suggestion of a Surface pro.

Mac book may be difficult as we have a small home network and all Microsoft based.

Many thanks to you all for your help, it is beginning to clear my mind.
