please help with my printer problem...

hi, i have a kodak esp c315 printer. all of a sudden it started prining everything with a blue tint so i did a "clean print head" in the maintenence menu and it fixed this problem. now today i printed off some black writing on plain A4 paper but it came out blank. so i did the clean print head and printed again, the words came out faint. i then printed off some photos on plain A4 and they came out with orange skin and blue/green clothes and looks almost like a negative effect. i bought the printer at christmas time and replaced the ink cartridges with genuine kodak cartridges not long ago and they are both showing half full. can anyone please help? thanks, dan.

it will still be under warrantee so take it back and ask for a replacement printer.

It sounds like a blocked print head to me. You can either keep cleaning it until it unblocks it (but that wastes your ink) or get a cartridge that contains head cleaning fluid and clean the head with that 2 or 3 times (you can use them quite a few times). Or you can take it into a local service centre, if you can find one, to have it fixed under warranty as I've done a couple of times. Not sure if you will just get a straight replacement printer for a blocked head but you would if it was a damaged head.
