...Washing line :shake:

Basically it was 4am and cold and i was barefooted in my dressing gown and it was wet.. but i wanted to try and take some photos in my garden xD (Trying to build up some pity here..)

However i dont have a tripod and was limited to where i could take the photo from, this is one of my favorites apart from that damn washing line going through it :(

All ive done so far is sharpen the top left of the picture a little. Im not really any good, just using the photoshop trial atm! Ive played about for a few hours trying to do something to hide the line but nothing looks any good..

Just looking for a few tips on what i should try and how really? Much appreciated.

The offending item: http://beeja.co.uk/photos/DSCF0618.jpg

Any and all suggestions (even if its the photo is rubbish give up! xD) Are welcome (:

1st point the link is huuuuge and needs sliders to see it

Thanks

taking out the washing line won,t help much its just to out of focus, looks like camera shake / long exposure /high iso

if you like it then try this in edit blow the picture up large then use the clone tool to copy parts from above or below the line to edit it out

to be very honest its not worth saving sorry  just my opinoin

Appreciate your honesty (:

I dont mind the camera shake etc just the bloody washing line! xD

I tried to clone tool but it just looked a mess tbh!

Thanks though (:

Hey,

maybe you could take another at a different time? Even with the washing line removed the image still is very blurry and has a considerable amount of noise. I don't know that just removing the washing line will be able to save it.

if you like it then keep it you,ll look back at it in a few months and just say ouch  you can do better

just before i go to work you,re( perspective) shot in your flickr is much better even with the washing line in

My 60 second edit. All I did was select everything under the line using the poly selection tool then move the bottom section up to hide the line, a little smudging to hide the obvious and Bobs your Brothers sister .. Something like that. Bit brutal I know but easier and quicker than cloning

In time honoured TP tradition this is another edit keeping the best of the photo in

Thanks..

So tempted to put in on Flickr

Title: "My washing line"
Description: "Spent hours cropping this out for your enjoyment"

:P

With things the way they are you could probably sell it to a fine art gallery. Stranger things have happened.

Then years after my death my family could sell on the actual washing line for more profit? xD

That really made me chuckle

Agree with the others though, too much shake in it for me, the washing line makes no real odds whether it's there or not, sorry.

Really???

That would be your sister, wouldn't it? And she's called Bob?

This is getting quite scary :|

Im glad my washing line turned into a debate about the true identity of Bob :D

here is my attempt :) shame about the shake it would of been a better pic.

It was really windy :( It was propped in position and i took it with the remote so pretty much just the wind effecting it.

I just loved the colour of the sky, but without 4 second exposure it just didnt pick up enough light. That was the best i could get, the others the wind was blowing even more so :(

How have you two gone about doing that?

Thank you for your efforts (:

i just used the clone tool and heal tool, just mucking around with it untill it looked better.
only a 10 min job, but once the line has gone, you spend more time looking at the motion blur. shame really.

better luck next time ;-)

I have been trying to think where I have seen this before. Then I remembered! Last year we went to a bonfire party and the pub (there's a clue) that organised it built the fire too close to the trees, and yes, you guessed it, it set the trees on fire!!:D

So my picture represents trees on fire from a failed pub bonfire through the eyes of a drunk? Good title? xD

Works for me!! :p

UNLESS, anyone can think of a better (or shorter) title??

Great picture...looks like a burning bush!!! Is it God????:)

Thanks! ... i think :D

Was definately some divine intervention.. both blocking my shot with a washing line and blowing the tree around.. the things you have to put up with (:

Some images just work, if only because of how or when you took them :)
