Anyone with good eyesight or a good knowledge of FD stuff - please help

Daughter asked for an old MF Film Camera for use on college course, saw this T70 and table full of carp and purchased it, seller really cannot idenify items

What have I bought, (OK the T70 I can see), not sure on the lens fitted, looks like at least 3 other lenses and Teleconvertors or Tubes, amongst the bags and other general noise,

Any help identifying any of it before the box of goodies turns up would be appreciated

(Sorry about the tiny photos, largest that there were on ebay)

All help appreciated to keep me going till the box arrives!

Some nice stuff there, I'd say if you got it for under £150 then you are on a winner. Certainly looks like you got anything that will come up on a college course pretty well covered there

Paid £100 (Only bid) nobody else went near it.

Daughter wanted a starter for college to make use of the decent darkroom they have so it seemed like a good grab bag starter for her.

Just found the pictures to small to really identify anthing apart from the body and the seller really knows nothing, selling for relative etc.

All looks to be Canon glass too, none of your 3rd party kit?

I agree with Arthur - for 100 quid as long as the camera is OK I don't see you going far wrong. The lenses are a bonus subject to condition obviously, but they all look like Canon lenses - can't be bad!

Cheers Guys

Looking forward to getting it now, as was a real impulse purchase (Only came across auction with 1min to go), as daughter was on phone saying how college wanted her to get a film camera as half course is film and half digital, and as I was listening to her started sufting ebay and found it,

So with luck it was one of those things that was supposed to be!

Well I think I can just make out a 35-70 Canon zoom on the T70 and looks like a sigma lens there and could be a 28mm, might be an extender, the flash looks like a 277t which is a good one.
Nice camera, I have two.

if you need anything else for it let me know, we've got a fair bit of FD stuff here from dads old camera :) including another T70

Cheers, I will let you know when it turns up if she is missing anything needed for the course, I am hoping this will be a 1 stop gets it all kind of thing!

Gotta love a bit of FD gear, looks like you've got a good buy there!

Cheers Guys

So Far seem to have identified

T70 Body
Canon 75-200 Lens
Canon 35-70 Lens
Canon 28 Lens
Canon 277T Flash
Canon 2X TC

There is a Sigma Lens and some Vivitar tubes/TCs plus all the other bits, but feeling happy about the package, just phoned Sarah and told her, she is over the moon at the thought of getting some film work done.

Thanks All.

Looking very nice there - I give it a month before she wants a T90 though

You realise the 50/1.4 is worth the price you paid? Just a thought

Yes I was a bit shocked with that one I had misidentifed it as a 28mm rather than the 50 1.4!

Problem with this is its now giving me the urge to try some film stuff again! :gag:

Brings back memories of my first A-1 in 1980 Joined the Rolls Royce Camera Club In Derby and they all gave me daggers for daring to have a camera with electronics in it!!

Must resist urge to go on ebay and look for film stuff for me!!!!

you jammy bujjer.....:D

Canon 50mm 1.4 fitted with Canon UV Filter in carry case (Like New)

that alone is worth the price of admission..................

if she ever sells to move onto DSLR - get them listed individually on eBay - probably get enough in total for a very decent DSLR

Great find ! :-)

it's nice to find a surprise lot like that from time to time

If the 24mm is the superwide II (which it looks like it is) then that's going for about £25-£40, it is a very good lens.

The 50/1.4 is usually selling for about £30-£45, it's the Canon 24mm that's expensive.

Yes it is the Superwide II, Sems like a nice little lens, although I have a fondness for Sigma anyway (Have the EF 12-24 and EF 105 Macro myself that use a fair bit)

She is coming up from London at the weekend to collect it, so looking forward to getting some time next week and getting her started on some B/W around Derbyshire,

Although dissapointed today to find out that Costco Derby have now Decommisioned there Film Processor as they can no longer get parts for it, it was a bargain £1.65 for B/W or Colour Develop and High Res Scan to CD for a 36Exp Roll. Hopefully the one near her in London manages to keep going a while longer, they said today that as they break down now they are being taken out of service at all branches which is a real shame
