well what with a thread being closed and someone being suspendered in f&c , and all in one day ,i must have got over exited ,,,now where are my tablets ?

I subscribed, just to compare and contrast the postings from the first one in F&C - thought it might be an interesting "tribal" experiment.

Then pretty much everyone who posted in the thread turned out to be you lot! :lol:

I'll give it 'till around 11am tomorrow before the "recent pro" digital shooters get in there (just after their coffee break and battery change "browsing session")... Might have to let someone else handle "crowd control" though ;)

Huh! who was suspended? Thread closed :eek:.... There was another guy in the past who got suspended because he was arguing that the mods were over modding.

Well looking into my crystal ball I foresee the new thread being locked very quickly when all the 01010101 digi people get their backs up :lol:

The old thread was probably the first instance of deliberate trolling I have seen in the f&c section in the two years I have been posting here!

Not strictly true :D you can buy a customer tag too...though I'm feeling lost without my speshal one too :( .... Silly admin breaking stuff
 
Hello from the darkside....

Hello are you still there??

I have ventured in to the F&C forum for the first time becuase of the thread mentioned above and I'm considering buy a Nikon F80 to go with my D3100 as I can see the appeal of both.

It ammuses me that there appears to be the same debate going on the the Camera world as in the Mini (car) world (but in the Mini world certian people in the Mini camp apperer to find it acceptabel to damage MINIS. In both debates 'old' and 'new' have they're good and bad points (I have to classic Minis but love the 'new' MINI and will be looking one in the future) Maybe a Film/Digital United Not Divided group is needed like the one we started for the Mini/MINIS hmm food for thought.

One day everyone will get along no matter what their point of view........ one day

Actually your idea is a very good one; "united not divided" I like it.

Thanks Andy I set a Facebook group up for the Mini/MINI one and we've had a fantastic response from around the world
