Download G.I.M.P.
It's very powerful, worth learning to use.

Here's a basic edit:

I've run it through topaz denoise, done some local brightness and contrast and a large radius USM.

I was bored so I tried selective B+W:

Hope you like that.

wow, thanks adam they look much better, i especially like the selective colour version, taking out the colour from the carpark/other cars really helps the eye focus on the scirocco

really nice work, thank you :)

i hope to get into PP soon, ive been watchin youtube tutorials and cant get my head round it yet lol

Mark - if you really want a pro job done on your image then go to www.dpreview.com
then forums>software/retouching and ask Ray Guselli to give it a go. he is a really nice guy and will cut and edit it into a fantastic shot.
nice car by the way
Dave

ok thanks dave, il go to DP and have a butchers.

unfortunatly its not my car lol im just a big VW fan and had to snap that when i saw it siting in the carpark, shame i only had my phone on me lol

wow Christine that is very bright lol reminds me of a few of the posters i had on my wall as a teen lol

wayne, that is amazing it looks like an ad from VW absoutly love it

i think its really clever how you guys have cut out the car from such a distracting background

thank you so much for showing how much an image can be changed with proper software

i have just downloaded gimp, is this kind of editing possible with that program?
