Hi there,

Been playing with both the trials of Aperture3 and LR3, v steep learning curve with both but I *think* I'm preffering LR3 probably cause I used PSE4 on my old laptop.
Anyway, I wanted some C&C on this processing (LR3) and if you think its ok or should I stay settled with a version of elements?

All I've done is crop, WB alteration, NR and sharpen...ok that's probably everything I'd ever use in one photo lol!

Cheers

Joe

PS this was in my back garden last summer, I've got more of a set (excuse the pun) but never had the guts to process them lol

TBH I think the colour on the second one is a bit too blue (but I haven't calibrated my screen since last weekend so it could be that).

The crop is certainly better. Did you use the develop module sharpen, or the export sharpen? This type of shot is also screaming for a touch of post crop vignette.

I much prefer the first one - the colour is nicer (if a bit warm) and also shows the badger in context. The second shot is far too cold for me and very much 'where is it?' in terms of location...

Just my 2p worth...

:agree:

Thanks for the feedback,
I used the develop module sharpen, and now it's been said I think that its probably *very* blue!!

I'll have another go at it as I do like the shot.

Ta again

Joe

Yup, much better - probably just crop to the edge of the distracting green thing at the bottom right-hand side and it's job done...
