play.com advertising canon 40d for £499

I google 40d and click on shops and it says play.com has the body only for £499 but when i click on it on play theres no buy button so IS it for sale for this price or is this just play.com getting us to there site but not letting us have the product at this price? false advertising if you ask me ive also been on the phone to them for the past 1 hour and 10 minutes but no ones answering mmmmmmmmmm your thoughts please
 
Can't find it on Play.com and google isn't showing Play.com in searches for 40d.
 
Looks like Google finding an old page still live on the server to me. No button to buy would suggest to me it's not available anymore.
 
Ah, I didn't use the shopping search sorry.

That's the way it was with the phantom bargain-priced Nikon 17-55 lenses they had a while back...
 
shame got myself all excited to :lol: seems they have gone up a bit now
 
Google's shopping search has a tendency for dredging up crap old links.
