Plant identification

The flower bud is more onion family, I don't think it's a tulip anyway.
Might be Lilly of the Valley (?)
It will be easier to decide when open.

Now then you might have something there! A couple of years ago I planted some Allium bulbs but nothing ever grew. I have just done a search on onion family plants and Allium are mentioned, I wonder if it's those. If it is they have took their time coming through.

Certainly looks like Allium to me and mine are at a similar stage.
 
Certainly not Lilly of the Valley and I have to agree that they look like Alliums.
 
I love alliums. I keep meaning to plant more. It's odd they took a few years to grow from bulb. I read that growing them from the seeds is difficult but all of mine grew the first year. You'll enjoy taking photos of them when they flower. The really big bumble bees really seem to love them.
