Does anyone know what this is? Got a few of them growing, wondering if they are just ferns but not sure.

Definitely a fern but not sure which one.

If it's bracken, which I think it might be, best get it out.

Not bracken but apart from that I could not say what it is. Bracken has underground rhizomes and does not form a dormant cluster.
 
Keep an eye on them just in case:

Most likely a variety of Dryopteris, It looks established so was it not there last year? Unlikely to be bracken unless you have heathland the other side of the fence.
 
Thanks all, I think they've been there for a few years but we've never really noticed them due to the location, other plants and a lot of other things going on. But what with isolation things are different. Some of them are pushing other plants away and they are also rather large, so I think I'll rip them out.
