I am going to St Ives with work for a few days.(i will have several hours free Day and Night)

Just wanting to know of any good places to get some great shots.
Well places where everyone else may get great shots :)
 
Where you will be on the coast - just about anywhere.

If you have transport then follow the coast road down to Cape Cornwall (England's only Cape) especially sunrise / sunset.

Portwrinkle is very photogenic you could literally go in any direction and get great shots.

i will be driving down from leicester on wednesday. i will have the rest of the day free when i get there. I am hoping to be there about 10am
 
Christ what time you leaving to get to cornwall for 10am!?!? (used to go fairly regularly from Derby...it is one hell of a jaunt, even worse from up here now).

My favourite spots are mainly around the south coast of Cornwall. All the villages around The Lizard Peninsular are good. I have spent an entire day from sunrise to sunset going around there. St Michael's Mount is also a good spot as is Mousehole around the other side of the bay. Also in that area is the Minack Theatre and some other cool little coves and harbours.
 
Take some pics of Morgan Porth on your way down Kev, so I know what I am in for in August when I go.
Oh and I know Kev personally.....Leaving home at 3 or 4am, to go somewhere for work, is nothing to this guy. :-)

I will leave leicester about 4.30am. If works paying me to travel to cornwall to two day i want to get most out of them.(they will only pay me 8 hours through). Never mind the rest of the day will be mine.
 
Padstow lifeboat station stunning building stunning view google it. They do a practice launch once a week it is worth watching.
 
Hi Guys, godrevy lighthouse is an awesome place to get some good pictures, st micheal's mount, in and arouns st mawes castle, and down and around sennen cove and st ives bay is pretty gd, if u would like any more help give me a shout as i'm local lol

Well it looks like I am going st micheal's mount, tingle water falls, st Ives and Hayle (where I am staying). I will post pics when I am back. Thanks everyone for your help
