Not quite but some of the pleading RTM's have been fun to read,
and even offering to "pay" to be allowed back in.
Needless to say that all were rejected.

You can link to an ebay etc sale, but only in your own for sale thread on TP.
Trading or attempting to trade outside classifieds is against the rules.
So yes start a thread in classifieds and by all means add a link to eBay etc :thumbs:

I've always wondered whether posts in 'Out Of Focus' should really count. I mean, it's not really Talking Photography, by definition, and are you really contributing to the Talk Photography community if you don't Talk Photography? On the other hand, there's often more community spirit in here even if people do just talk rubbish. I dunno, maybe I need another beer.

On the old forums I believe they didn't count.
Makes no odds as far as I'm concerned.
 
They didn't count a while back but I think that they do now. Still got a few to go before he/she/it gets access and that may not be a given...
 
Does anyone else cringe reading this type of thread or is it just me :confused:
 
It's actually surpring how sensible the pricing on classifieds has become since the changes ,no longer are prices based on e.bay less the fees there now actually realistic and don't look like they have been posted by the urinator .
Really good I even saw a post in the wanted section today from someone looking for Lee filters ,you should take a look in there :help:

(from the "it's going live" announcement thread back in August last year after the initial announcement in April 2015 (can't believe we're still getting bitching and whineing about it TBH)


(note, there was a little initial confusion where initially I believed that all entries in the classifieds section were counting, but, Marcel's a big softie, and decided to not only take the ratio down to 50:50 from the initially planned 20:80 but to remove price checks and freebies from the calculation, bless him...)

;) he may as well - never seems to get out there and take any photos... he only managed to enter 3 months of the Staff POTY...

It might be better for some of us to pay to be denied access... could save a whole lot of money. If a Leica M6 appears in the classifieds please ban me!:p
