1. Mods/owners aren't Facists
2. Most people haven't stopped buying and selling, only those that haven't contributed to the forum. It's always been the rules, just automated now. But you know that
3. Alternatives are Your local Camera shop, or MPB.com on line, probably ebay but you will find as businesses they will want some of your money for the process of helping you sell. . Do you have a local for sale Facebook Group?
 
I posted this in a couple of threads elsewhere on the forum but seems apt to repeat it here as well

I still find the time to partake elsewhere on the forum and manage, quite easily I might add, to keep within the new classifieds guidelines.

It really is not that hard to do so either

Why do people think I'm a business? I have bought and sold a fair bit on here but was never one of those that then resold on ebay never! I know that has gone now and I really don't have the time to spend on here everyday.
I will have a look at MPB online cheers, and the stuf I don't use like the lee filters big stopper and various filter holders and rings arn't the kind of thing my local camera shop is interested in, and can't be arsed with ebay.

Well maybe the sweeny could also look at some of my stuff that I have sold on here like my D3 or my 40d which I even delivered personally to the buyer, also if you want pics of the 2 tablets 1 kindle and an alienware computer I have bought from here I still have them , want to see proof? If any of you want to see what I really do for a living you are more than welcome.
 
you REAAALLY don't get it do you... We don't want that, we don't need proof that you're not a trader, we simply want you to participate in the rest of the forum if you want to be allowed to use the classifieds - which, as I tire of stating, is as a perk for PARTICIPATING members. Nothing more, nothing less, nothing else... Well... that and not calling the owners and staff of this place Fascists would be nice...

And, if you don't want to particiapate outwith the classifieds, then frankly, I think we could rub along quite nicely as a forum without your very occasional input / sniping from the sidelines.

Not having ABused the section, that would be my preferred option after trade ins at a local shop.

BTW, the owners of this site aren't fascists, just (benign) dictators. Some of the mods though... ;)
