Places in west yorkshire

Hi everyone please does anybody know of any places in west Yorkshire where I can get some good shots I am new to photography and need some places for inspiration I am also wanting to find a waterfall thank you
 
Golden Acre Park is quite nice. Free entry and free parking and there is a lot of wildlife; duck, bird, geese,ducks and flowers to photograph.

Tropical World in Leeds is also very good. I went there recently, but I didn't have my camera with me, and plan to go again. There are some lovely exotic butterflies and plants there. Great for macro work. A lot of things are behind glass, so they don't make the greatest of photos, but I still got some reasonable shots with my mobile phone.
It's £3.50 to get in. It's got children in, but it's worth it, and you could always go when it's not the school holidays. There is also a pretty garden with a lovely variety of flowers next door.
 
A couple of places we visited eariler this year which are good for wildlife;
RSP Bempton Cliffs
Filey Dam Nature reserve

Flambourough cliff/head it another great place for birds and seaviews.

A trip out to Haworth, at this time of year steam trains run on most days, the village itself is also good and for waterfalls a trip out onto the moors. Bronte falls (admittedly not the largest waterfall) is about a mile from Stanbury.
 
Hardcastle Craggs in Hebden Bridge is a nice woodland with stream, although not a waterfall. You can park for free if you're a National Trust member and it's free entry to the site for everyone. The Ingleton Waterfalls walk has excellent waterfalls but there is a charge to get in. It's best to go when it's quiet though as the paths are narrow and you can't set up your tripod anywhere when it's busy as you'll block the path. Ilkley Moor and Otley Chevin are scenic too. Within day trip distance there's places like Brimham Rocks and Fountains Abbey. The National Media Museum in Bradford might provide a bit of inspiration too

Cheers guys appreciate the ideas went for a ride out to malham well worth a visit just don't have the skills to do it justice with my shots my a200 is stressing me out lol
 
I thought you asked about West Yorkshire? ;)
 
I did but a family member told me about malham so I went for a ride on my motorbike
