I'd prefer to see the full eye and eye lid and perhaps a little more light.

Yep lovely and sharp on the pupil, not easy to do that, they really are amazing things close up, seems as though you could look inside !!!

I prob could have done with another flash rather than just the built in camera one - bit dark underneath. Bit awkward taking shots of my my own eye.

"Eye" agree with you there.... think you might have cropped a bit too close maybe, nice detail on the wavy bits that go through the iris though.

I tried this type of shot last.... & gave up , far to blooming difficult ! Like the detail in the iris , don't mind the small flash bright spot at all....

The eye is certainly sharp but maybe either a bit too closely cropped or not cropped enough if you know what I mean.

It's a kitchen bench, had a lamp shining from the back which might have caused the speckles in the bench to look like that.

Nice clean bubble put in just the right place compositionally. I'm not sure about the top right corner though. Maybe a bit distracting.

agree with the others....really sharp , like the hint of rainbow colors in it as well top right has been mentioned but sometimes you just have to take the shot as bubbles are tricky little fella's

Lots of smoke and it looks good in b&w...I like the curled edge of paper on the front left side but the bright white of the flame detracts from it a little.

as I struggled with this theme I'm not really in a position to crit ,I can see the smoke , odd though it is I think mono works here ,just wondering what the bits are on the lhs of the glass ?
