Pipex down today - 1/1/09?

Hi,

just wondered if anyone else having problems with Pipex Broadband as my dad can't get connected. It just keeps taking him to a BT Wholesale page even although his router says 'connected'.

His old Speedtouch usb modem just doesn't connect at all and it was fine yesterday.

Any help/info greatly appreciated as even the Pipex status page on my pc comes up with an error.

Well I'm on Freedom2surf which is part of the group with pipex and I've only just got on today at 16:15 after trying all day to get my route to connect, I get kept getting could not authenticate.

It'll be something at their end, but you can't phone them up as the don't have support on Bank Holidays. I doubt they even thought it maybe a little busy on the new year.

IIRC, pipex part of the Tiscali group, and there have been no problems with Tiscali...
