Hi,

Has anyone had any experience of the Rose Pink background from Creativity??? Have been thinking about it for a makover event where it would be a cool background but wonder if anyone has used it before.

It's this one http://www.castlehillcrafts.co.uk/product/447/creativity-backgrounds-rose-pink-49

Many thanks

Nick

I don't have any experience of this one specifically...my pink colorama is more of a bubblegum pink than that, but it looks fine to me. Like anything, the end result will depend on how far the subject is from the background, how much light is on the paper and the effect you're looking for.

You might also want to think about using gels to get a pink light on the background.

Not that one but I've had some coloured paper from Creativity. Nice stuff. But not that similar to the colours on the site.

Thanks Andrew - do you have a link to any images that I could have a look at?

Thanks Jonathan. Out of interest did you find them lighter or darker than the website

Cheers

Try this....

It's not one of my photos, it's one of my customer's shots.... This was taken with the background unlit, aside from the key and fill lights on the subject (I.e there's no light aiming just at the background).

The swatches that Creativity have on their site are pretty good.. You can also phone them and ask for a swatch book which has little samples of all the colours they sell.
