Pinhole camera time!

Hi all,

I've been looking in to various designs for pinhole cameras over the last few days and have decided to have a go at making one and doing a few exposures. They're easy to make and fun to use, and you don't need much special kit to develop the images.

So, would anyone like to join me in making a pinhole camera? We could share ideas/tips etc. and then post scans of our results

Just thought I'd bump this: I've built a camera, got some film, and will be exposing and developing images soon. Stay tuned for scans!

I missed this first time around. I've often thought of trying to make a pinhole 'lens' out of a camera body cap and use it on my 300D.

IIRC, there was an ad in this months version of AP. A company will make a custom cap and exposure chart based on your camera for £25, it was near the back. I'll look it out.

£25 seems a lot, but if the hole is laser bored into the lens cap, to exact dimensions, it may well produce excellent results.

have you tried the digital pinhole camera too? Just punch a hole on a body cap and hey presto opps just read the rest of the thread and it's already been said

here's my pinhole camera attempt, 5x4 film holder with a box built around it, with a pinhole made in beer can material.

I'm trying to refine the pinhole to get a bit sharper image
