Absolutely.... so celebrate the fact I think they're awful :)
 
Interesting, some quite good but some seriously over-cooked.
 
They are overcooked for my taste, but they have a certain fascination, and if you do like this style, they're quite well done.
 
Blimey, who flying the plane? George? I agree the HDR is overdone though.
 
that 'post apocalyptic' look is horrible.

and yes...they have been ruined by HDR.

I go along with that, but cannot emphasise enough it is just down to personal opinion. One man's treat is another man's poison.

Really liked the flight deck shots (those showing the interior of it, that is).

^^Exactly^^

As I said in the original post I personally don't like HDR but I do think they are impressive shots and not something we get a chance to see everyday.
 
Some are OK but the Airbus and flight deck shots look nothing like that!!! The lens makes it look huge!!
 
I agree that the HDR ruins a potentially great set.

The most worrying thing though is that the OP reads the Daily Mail online.

This. There are stacks of great flight deck photos online if you know where to look, they're not at all unusual or rare so I fail to see what's so special about these. They just look like decent original photos destroyed by utterly tasteless processing to my eyes!

Some good shots there, shame the HDR was turned up to 11
 
Fantastic viewpoint, but IMO the HDR dial needs to be turned way down
 
The HDR is OTT but otherwise a rather unique view.
 
I get that HDR isn't to everyone's liking, I can personally take it or leave it, I also agree that too much HDR can spoil the look but these are very well taken pictures and I don't think you can ever justify calling them 'Hideous'.
 
Sometimes HDR can be horrible but you know what? I LOVE these photos. They're gorgeous.
 
Why do we have to feel the need to say "I disagree, but ..." everyone's entitled to their opinion no?

Mine is that they would be alright if not for the OTT processing. It ruins most of the city scape images especially.

My cousin is a pilot, he takes pics from the cockpit all the time on his iphone. they are better than these. In fact I've seen images on flickr that people took from the normal, side plane windows that were miles better. The cockpit view just makes these seem more interesting.
