Why did so many people whinge about me reporting this nuisance?

As you said, the off topic area is free for a wide range of discussion. I don't rant, I post topics for discussion. If you do not like these threads, just ignore them. It is not hard. It appears many seem to claim the moral superiority, have a look at the bull fighting thread. Not me.

I don't want to ignore them. I'm going to be the irritant poster in your threads if I disagree with you. And if it takes it off topic then that will be just fine.

And before you say that I'm already an irritant poster I will put it I here and save you the trouble

Why. They broke the law. They got caught.

It's no different to catching a speeding driver.

No, she didn't break the law. She conravened a local council ruling for which she recieved a penalty charge....from the council not from the police.
You broke the law.
She didn't commit a criminal act....doesn't have a criminal record (for that anyway)
Seeing the difference yet?

My email back from the council said they get many complaints from people regarding pigeons.
They obviously don't take it that seriously or you wouldn't have had an issue in the first place.
Enjoy your pigeon free stroll down Sauchiehall st whilst it lasts.
I'm sure more feeders and pigeons will be back!

TP pigeon feeding meet ;)

It must be hard being steve though, we should sympathise more, he can't drive to work (for obvious reasons), he can't get the bus or train because they are full of drunken poor people almost menacing his safety, and he can't walk without being almost harrassed and almost injured by the pigeon menace, not to mention all the junkies that might (but actually havent) harm him, and god fordid someone might be walk by with a dog ... so it seems the poor boy is forced to stay at home with only the bbc news website for comfort.

Don't be too hard on him though, he does give us plenty to talk about

I'm not starting any argument or upsetting anyone. I'm disagreeing with you. I don't mind you calling me a troll. Ill take it as a compliment.

Just as you find cause to post regarding your views on a wide range of subjects so I find cause to post my views on your views. Get used to it or put me on your ignore list.

But you won't do that because you need to have the last word on everything so the thought that you're missing something will drag you back to it.

I've got a better idea, as we are going round in circles, I'll have the last word.
Steve has his result, and good on him for getting off his arse and
doing something about a problem that affected him.

Time to go put the kettle on guys.
