Picture hosting and posting.

Which is the best image hosting site, I am looking for one that is easy to use and allows direct linking to the image for posting here in the forum. so the image is seen in the thread not the link.
I have been using my gallery for posting but have on a few occasions erased an image which then removes it from the post.

A hell of a lot! They were all at forum size. you will have to uploaded hundreds of images to do it! I dont think it is something I will do again.

Just signed up and placed one image, had a test post preview but it still just showed the link not the image, I copied direct link

So here is my first post via photo bucket 800x600 is that ok for the pixel police or should I be hosting at the next size down, must admit it has come through looking real sharp does posting via Photobucket make a difference or am I after all posting at too many pixels or whatever.

I've always used Photobucket at that pixel count and not had a problem.
