Pics to SD card for Tablet

Wishing to resize and place some images onto 8gb SD card to display via Tablet. Was wondering ideal size for displaying as i wish to get quite a few on one card., I thought about 72dpi. Would these display well, any help would be grateful.

DPI is not what I would be bothered about. When I resize for optimal viewing, I usually check the website for the res of the screen and resize accordingly. I would never go below this res.

Most if not all tablets I have used over the years do a great job of rendering an image to display properly.

DPI is irrelevant for computer display. Pixels is where it's at. You need to think how big in pixels the image needs to be.

Thanks for the replies. I will try a couple, transfer them to the tablet and see what they look like.
