Picked up an SB-900 today....

So how much are SB600 and SB800's going for then??? Might be tempted to flog off one of them to go for a SB900...... What is the best price that the SB900 can be found for?

Is there an external battery pack for the SB900 or does the SB800's fit?

Is there a L-Ion battery upgrade for either of these?

Oh and Colin, I hope you have some decent batteries :)

It doesn't require the "5th wheel" battery pack that the SB-800 does, but there is the SD-9 pack available, which reduces the recycle time on full power down to 1 second..

Do a search on Ebay and see what nice SB-800s are going for.....nearly as much as a new SB-900 :cuckoo:

I am quite impressed with the recycle time on the SB800 with the Eneloops with the 5th battery attached but I was going to buy the extra battery pack to reduce the time. I am REALLY surprised that nobody has done a L-Ion pack for it.

Went to Argos after picking mine up, but they didn't even have the Eneloops in the catalogue....I think you're making that up :suspect: :lol:

I posted a link that was posted by someone else on here previously :) Maybe that is WHY they have no stock !!

Seriously though the Eneloops are "the bear's knees"
