I have built a website for a small club that I work with.
As with most club websites there is a 'Gallery' section.
My original intention was to embed a Picasa web slideshow into the website, for a couple of reasons:- once the gallery was set up admins could add photos without configuring the website, cloud storage, and we use a couple of other Google features like the embbeded calendar, Google Drive, etc. All was going well until I came to view the photos on an iPad and yes Picasa uses flash so you cannot see them! UGH! The work around seems to be to use an RSS feed with an API that grabbed the photos. All seemed OK, but the RSS feed lowers the resolution so much that even at 600px wide the photos are awful.
Would like to continue to use Picasa as it is all linked in with a Google account and as I said we use that for other things as well.
Any thoughts/Suggestions please?
Thanks
Nick
