Hi all.
I have had this for a while but never used it, I have no instructions either.
I put it on my cam (1D3) but does not seem to work!
It has a couple of different on points on the hotshoe unit but nothing happens when I press the shutter on the hand held piece, except the green light flashing.
Anyone any experience with this?

I have one for my D200/300,Nikons, so this may not help. Make sure that both the sender and receiver are on the same settings. Also the battery may be goosed if it is old.

:)

Settings?
I can see 4 very small buttons on the back of the sender all set to on.
Battery is fine, the button on the top of the reciever works when pressed.

It is the version for your camera isn't it?

When I got mine about 6 months ago, the company were having supplier troubles, and were getting and sending, remotes in the wrong boxes. This may have happened with you.

I got the correct one and it has worked fine in my D200 and D300.

My Phottix remote may not be the same design as yours, as just looking on Ebay, they seem to have changed the design since I got mine.

Very similar, have just noticed the reciever has the same very small buttons on the underside, so a play with them may solve this.

Make sure the button settings match on both units.....

That is the different design to the one I got.

I got this one, which I think is a slightly better design, as you can put the receiver in the hotshoe.

Yep, that be the one I have...:)

Works very well.......

Sorry, just meant same model, tried different combos of the numbers and nothing, I press the button half way down on the sender and green light comes on, all the way down it turns red but nothing happens.

Try shoving the camera/lens into manual mode, settings don`t matter, see if it works then?

Does the receiver LED flash?

If so, does the button on the receiver (not the transmitter remote) trigger the camera?

Just tried mine on the D200, even with the battery out, the receiver button will fire the camera. Try a different/fresh battery in it.When you switch it to the on position,a green light should flash on the receiver.

Will leave it there until I can get a new battery tomorrow, thanks.

Just tried mine to make sure about the lights, and mine is doing the same thing. :bang:

From what I remember, the LEDs on the receiver flashed when it was working as a receiver.

My D80 one (which I'd only used a couple of times) is exactly the same. The light on the sender works, but the the receiver doesn't appear to. I've tried swapping the battery in the receiver from my D300 one (which works fine) but still nothing

I suppose the battery should have been the first thing I thought of, I was not aware that the reciever could fire off the camera power.
Spares for me too, Tesco only had one.
