Phototraining4u

Mark Cleghorn is at all the Focus events and knows his stuff..

Possibly the best £200 you could spend, or a waste of £200 depending on your point of view. The training material is first rate, but its only good to you if the content is such you'll learn from it, and only you can answer that

Do I take it that you subscribe to this site?

Im a member of phototraining4u.com, just renewed for 2nd year...

I joined last January when it first started, it only had about 10 films, currently there are over 250 films...

Originally it started with just studio, portrait and Wedding photography...
But he has signed up some photo masters including Andy Rouse wildlife photographer, so i assume some wildlife stuff will appear soon...

He has also taken on 4 apprentices which he is training up and follows their progress all online...

I found following these apprentices perfect, as i was at the same stage as them...

He also has workshops based in Cardiff, so ideal for us taffy mob...
Other locations around uk as well...

Probably the best on-line resource available and you can dip in and out as you wish. Mark is putting up an average of 4 new films a month so there is plenty of material. Also business building ideas.
His style is down to earth.

Only point worth knowing is that you need a fast broadband connection to view the films. It works perfectly on my home and on hotel wireless systems but not through my USB mobile connection.

Yes, I'm subscribed and will probably renew.

One comment worth making is that it is slightly biased towards shooting although there are Photoshop tutorials on there too.
I love it but also subscribe to Kelby Training in the US. They are biased the other way, more software tutorials plus shooting.

Both are recommended but as stated, depends what you are after!

I've also been considering it, but perhaps paying for one month (£22.99) to trial it first. Anyone have a promotional code btw?

Very tempted, would also be interested in a voucher code if available as a 'try first'

I dont think there are any voucher codes available that is why he does the monthly membership...maybe sign up for one month to see how it goes...

I think you can sign up as a "FREEVIEW" member and try some of the freebie taster videos...

Minimum requirement is a 2mb broadband connection...

He has signed up some lightroom and elements masters so i expect some tutorials from them soon...
