Have any of you tried the MS Photosynth app for the iPhone? I have been having a play over the last few days and it really does work very well. It's basically a 360deg panoramic app, and you can get it here: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/photosynth/id430065256?mt=8

Here's my first attempt from Pen-y-fan in Brecon today:

Its a good app, much better than the other panoramic apps! Great photo too!

I've got the app but yet to use it, which is annoying because I was in Glenshee the other day and it would have been a perfect opportunity. Would like to see the quality of the image with this used on an iPhone 4.
 
just loaded this onto the phone and gave it a quick try indoors :)
cant wait till daylight to get outside and give it a go

The one i put up is taken with an iPhone4. It seems to not use the camera to it's maximum abilities. I would assume this is just because of the power/time it would take to render a large pano at full resolution. I am still happy with the result though as it's so stupidly simple to do, and does work fairly well!
 
It is fantastic, the only thing i think it degrades the camera down to 2mp or something
 
Been having a play myself and took a 3d pano of my kitchen which I've just refitted. Worked a treat.

Edit - My old 3G isnt compatible sadly :(

Just trying it now, very impressive on my iPhone 3GS, would be superb on iPhone 4?
