Photoshop Techniques

Hello TP

Just recently i have been fiddleing about with Photoshop CS3 and working out some neat little tricks to enhance my pictures.

I know some of the basic stuff such as the B+W with a part in colour using the layer tools.

I also breifly learned about getting certain parts of the photograph out of the frame.

But i dont feel i know enough about photoshop and im definatly not using it to its full potential.

Is there anyone who knows any other good tips and tricks

If you do please post the Idea and instructions on how to do it.

This would be a great help for me

Dan theres thousands of tips and tricks around, a google search should bring up tons, for some good video tutorials check out russel browns site, it'll take you a while to get through them all, but I'll bet you find some interesting.

Try out www.lynda.com for a month and see if it is useful to you.

I have now cancelled my subscription but found the structure of some of the courses really useful. I accept that a lot of the content is available elsewhere but getting a snapshot is not the exactly the same as acquiring knowledge and background.

I second that! Easy to digest short films that are very informative.

The tutorials on this site are all screen-grabbed videos showing you exactly what to do in the software. A lot of them allow you to download the source files to have a go yourself too.
