Some others I find useful... (Admirable - feel free to copy these and edit them into your main post to save people scrolling down for stuff)

Move the image whilst halfway through doing something else: Hold the spacebar, left click and drag

Bigger brush: ]
Smaller brush: [

Duplicate selection/image into a new layer: CTRL+J
Flatten all layers below into a new layer: CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+E

Zoom out: Spacebar+ALT+Click
Zoom in: Spacebar+CTRL+Click

Thanks for those :)

Simple one but in Z - zoom dragging the mouse left and right to zoom in and out I find extremely useful.

Just google Photoshop Shortcuts in the 'Images' section...plenty of things you can print out there.

It's worth remembering that you can change the shortcuts to suit yourself, for eaxmple I have most of the F keys set up for different things, saves ages if your using certain ones a lot.

Depends on the version of Ps you use buty most are similar. If you do a google search on Photoshop Shortcut Keys and select "Images" as your search you get loads

save the image above and set as desktop bg ;)
Then you don't have to memorize them

Looks like it was worthwhile resurrecting this thread then! :)

Great list and love the idea of using it as a desk top background :)
Thank you everyone
Cathy

I remember seeing and actually using a proper photoshop keyboard, not one of those stick on label one either, the various buttons were set up for the various tools, wish I'd bought it while I had the chance, haven't seen one since.

Wayne just tried the link on my ipad and it worked ok but it takes quite a while to load so that may be the problem.

Works fine on my computer Cathy, but someone else had problems too it seems.
